WEEK 13

Dalam Minggu ke-13 ini kami diajar mengunakan Text Entry.

Dalam Flash, terdapat 3 jenis text iaitu Dynamic Text, Input Text dan Static Text.

Dynamic text – digunakan untuk mendapatkan respond yang 

Untuk memasukkan input dalam ruangan text

Static Text – Text yang static

Dalam Exercise kali ini, kami diajar tentang 3 perkara utama iaitu membina soalan, membina soalan objektif dan drag& drop

1. Membina Soalan

• Masukkan text soalan , contoh : “ Adakah anda penat?”
•  Buat satu ruangan untuk masukkan jawapan
• -          Masukkan rectangle sebagai kotak jawapan dan masukkan pula text (input text dan var : answer) 
•  Buat satu lagi ruangan untuk respond
• -          Pilih text tools (dynamic text dan var : respond)
•  Tambah satu layer baru dan masukkan button. Button boleh dipilih melalui library atau common library
• Setelah memilih dan memasukkan button, masukkan pula action dalam button tersebut. Berikut merupakan coding yang perlu dimasukkan pada action.

• Tambah satu layer baru untuk stop, then pergi ke window > action > masukkan action untuk stop seperti berikut:

• Jika jawapan yang dipilih adalah betul, hasilnya adalah seperti berikut:

• Sebaliknya jika jawapan yang diberikan adalah salah, hasilnya adalah seperti berikut:

2. Membina soalan objektif

•  Buat soalan sama seperti langkah di atas
• Buat button A, B, C, D sebagai pilihan jawapan.
• Masukkan coding di bahagian action untuk setiap button.
• Contoh coding bagi button yang mempunyai jawapan yang betul ialah seperti berikut:-

3. Drag & Drop

• Buat satu imej (contohnya gambar rectangle)
• Convert to symbol dan pilih jenis movie
• Kemudian tambah satu layer dan buat satu lagi imej (contohnya star)
• Convert to symbol dan pilih jenis movie juga
• Klik pada imej pertama (rectangle) dam masukkan action seperti berikut:-

• Masukkan juga action yang sama pada imej kedua (star) tadi.
• Hasilnya, kedua-dua imej boleh digerakkan mengikut pergerakan kursor

WEEK 11

Dalam minggu ke 11 ini terdapat 2 perkara baru yang dipelajari iaitu memasukkan sound dan menggunakan onion skin dalam membuat lakaran.

1. Sound

Dalam Flash, kita boleh memasukkan apa sahaja sound effect yang sesuai dengan image yang telah dihasilkan. Beberapa langkah untuk memasukkan sound adalah seperti berikut:-

• Download mana-mana sound effect yang digemari dan sesuai
• Save file sound tersebut samada menggunakan format wav atau mp3
• File > Import> Import to Library
• Insert keyframe untuk memasukkan sound yang telah ada dalam library tersebut

2. Onion Skin

Onion skin digunakan untuk membuat lakaran terhadap image yang telah dipilih dan digemari daripada sumber internet.

• Import mana-mana image yang telah dipilih
• File > Import > Import to Library
• Klik pada mana-mana keyframe > right click > insert blank keyframe

• Klik pada onion skin

• Mulakan melakar menggunakan bayangan image yang telah dipilih tadi
• Setelah selesai melakar, klik semula pada onion skin

WEEK 10

Tanpa sedar kelas Authoring telah sampai ke Minggu ke-10..

Untuk kelas Flash pada kali ini, kami diajar tentang beberapa basic animation antaranya ialah Shape Tweening dan Motion Tween

Berikut merupakan langkah-langkah yang boleh diikuti dalam menghasilkan kedua-dua basic animation tersebut.

1. Shape Tweening

• Insert shape (sebagai contoh pilih polyster tools)
• Pada frame yang ke-30, insert keyframes
• Insert pula shape lain ( pilih shape rectangle dan tukar mengikut warna pilihan )
• Klik pada mana - mana frame (contohnya frame 15 ) dan klik create shape tween.
• Lihat hasilnya seperti di bawah

2. Motion Tween

• Create shape baru (contohnya circle atau boleh juga masukkan image bola)
• Pada frame 90 insert keyframes
• Then add motion guide
• Lukis gambar laluan sebagai guide untuk menunjukkan lantunan bola
• Gunakan pensil dan pilih smooth semasa ingin membuat laluan
• Pada layer motion guide, klik juga frame 90 dan insert keyframes
• Klik kanan pada mana-mana frame dan create motion tween
• Adjust kedudukan image supaya titik pusat image berada betul-betul pada permulaan laluan dan berkahir di hujung laluan yang telah dilukis sebelum ini.
• Hasilnya adalah seperti di bawah

WEEK 9

Setelah seminggu menghabiskan cuti semester, kelas bermula semula dan dikendalikan pula oleh Dr.Norasykin. Untuk kali ini kami akan diajar dengan Penggunaan Adobe Flash CS3 dengan (FlashFile 2.0)

Flash merupakan satu proses animasi yang interaktif dalam sesuatu website. Terdapat banyak kegunaan Flash yang boleh diaplikasikan, di antaranya ialah :-

• Menghasilkan cartoon - format mestilah .fla tetapi sekiranya semua file digabungkan, format hendaklah ditukar kepada .swf
• Menghasilkan game
• Menghasilkan courseware

Terdapat 3 jenis interaksi dalam Flash iaitu :-

• Simbol - yang melibatkan graphic, button dan movie clip
• Text - static, input dan dynamic
• Drag and drop

Berikut merupakan function yang terdapat dalam Flash

• Tools panel - mengandungi segala tools yang boleh digunakan untuk menghasilkan imej
• Timeline - Memaparkan hasil kerja
• Layer - Kedudukan imej atau objek yang diletakkan boleh diasingkan atau disusun mengikut layer

Selain itu kami turut diperkenalkan dengan beberapa function lain yang terdapat dalam Flash

Dalam kelas yang akan datang, kami akan diajar dengan lebih banyak lagi tools dan function Flash untuk menghasilkan paparan yang lebih interaktif

WEEK 7

In week 7, we learned on how to create online questionnaire and also create forum. 

Online questionnaire:-

   Create Database

• Go to PHPMyAdmin
• Use existing database 'student'
• Create table in the database and name it as questionnaire

   Create Page for Questionnaire Form

• File > New > Blank Page > PHP
• Type the instruction of the questionnaire
• Insert Form > Radio Group
• Fill up the Radio Group Form as below 
 

 

• For Likert Scale Question, create table first and then type the question in each row.
• Insert Form > Radio Group
• Create radio group for each question and locate it in each column of the scale

• Insert submit button at the bottom of the page
• Then go to panel server behaviour > insert record
• Save the page as questionnaire.php

  

  Create Page for Analysis

• File > New > Blank Page > PHP
• Insert table and type all the item that we want to analyze in the table

 

FORUM

Create database

• We can also using the existing database that we already have
• For this case, I create table at my existing database which name ‘student’
• Create table consist of 3 items which are id, name and post
• Set the id as auto increment and primary

Create forum page

• File > New > Blank Page > PHP
• Insert Form
• Insert table; 2 row and 2 column consist of name and comment
• Insert submit button and name it as Post Comment
• Go to panel server behaviour > insert record

• Add ‘comment from others’ outside the form area
• Type name and comment
• Go to panel server behaviour > recordset
• Choose name and post and match it like the picture below

• Preview in the Firefox and the appearance should be like the picture below:-

WEEK 6

LOGIN ADMIN PAGE

Create File > New > Blank Page > PHP > Create

Insert Form

Insert Table, 2 row and 2 column

Type ‘username’ and ‘password’ at each column

Edit the text field

Put button at the bottom of the table and name the button as Login

Choose submit button at the action

Go to panel server behaviours > Click User Authentication > Click Login User

Connection : dmx

Table : admin

Username : username

Password : password

If success : Go to admin1.php

If fail : Go to admin_fail.php

Choose username, password, access level

Get level from ‘level’

Save this page as ‘admin_login.php’

ADMIN1 VIEW

Create File > New > Blank Page > PHP > Create

Insert Div Text

Insert Table, 2 row and 5 column

Type “view user”, “add user “, ‘delete user”, “update user” and “logout”

Save this file as “admin1.php”

ADMIN2 VIEW

Create File > New > Blank Page > PHP > Create

Insert Div Text

Insert Table, 2 row and 3 column

Type “view user”, “add user” and “logout”

Save this file as “admin2.php”

INSERT RESTRICT ACCESS

Open admin1.php file

Go to server behaviour > Click User Authentication > Restrict Access to Page

Restrict based on username, password and access level

Define

Name: 1 > ok

If access denied go to admin2.php

GO TO DETAIL PAGE

Create > File > New > Blank Page > PHP > Create

Click Layout > Insert Div Text

Type : ADMIN VIEW USER

Go to Panel Binding > Click Recordset

Connection : dmx

Table : register

Click ok

Drag username to the page

Highlight the username that has been dragged > click server behaviour > repeat region

Save the file as “view _user.php”

Highlight again the username > Go to server behaviour > Go to Detail Page > Fill up pop up box

Detail Page : Detail Page

Pass URL parameter : id

Tick both URL parameter and form parameter > click ok

CREATE DETAIL PAGE

File > New > Blank Page > PHP > Create

Layout > Insert Div Text

Type : USER DETAIL

Insert table: 5 row, 2 column

Type userid, surname, firstname, username and password at each column

Go to Panel Binding > Recordset (Query)

Connection : dmx

Table : register

Filter : id

Sort by : id and ascending

Do the drag process “id go to user id column and so on

Create ‘Back” button

Highlight the button and link to ‘view_user.php’

Save the file as ‘detail.php’

Open file admin1.php

Highlight view user > link it to “view_user.php”

Click Save

Open admin_login.php and preview in firefox

UPDATE USER

File > New > Blank Page > PHP > Create

Layout > Insert Div Text

Click Form > Insert Table > Row 5, Column 2

Type username , surname, firstname, username and password. Dont forget to put text field in each column

Insert button > change the value and name it as “Update”

Choose submit form at the action

Save the file as “update_user.php”

Go to Panel Binding > Recordset (query)

Connection : dmx

Table : register

Click ok

Do the drag process as usual and put in the text field

Go to Panel server behaviour > Update record

Connection : dmx

Table : Register

After updating : Go to admin1.php

Save the file

CREATE ADMIN EDIT PAGE

File > New > Blank Page > PHP > Create

Insert Table > 3 column, 2 row

Go to Panel Binding > Recordset Query

Connection : dmx

Table : register

Click ok

Drag username at username column

Highlight the table > Go to server behaviour > Go to detail page >

Detail page : update_user.php

Tick URL parameter

Now open file update_user.php

Go to binding > recordset > filter id > ok

Save the file as “admin_edit.php”

Open admin_edit.php and preview in firefox

DELETE BEHAVIOR

Open Admin_edit.php file

Insert form at Delete Column

Insert button and name it to delete

Put a cursor next to delete button

Go to form > hidden field>

Edit properties bar

Edit to hd_del  and choose id as value

Go to server behaviour > Delete record

Connection : dmx

Table : register

Primary key value : Form variable, hd_del

After deleting go to : admin_edit.php

Click ok
